User Agreement


Personal Data and Cookies Usage This User Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the user ("User") and the Institute of Management, Technology and Finance ("IMTF"), collectively referred to as "Parties," to outline the terms and conditions regarding the usage of personal data and cookies by IMTF in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Definitions

a. Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person as defined under the GDPR.
b. Cookies: Small text files placed on a User's device that collect information about the User's browsing activities.

Scope and Consent By using IMTF's services, the User agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. The User explicitly consents to the collection, storage, and processing of their Personal Data and the usage of Cookies by IMTF, as described herein.

Personal Data Collection and Usage IMTF may collect and process Personal Data provided by the User for the following purposes:

a. Registration and Account Management: To create and maintain the User's account on IMTF's platforms and provide access to its services.

b. Communication: To respond to inquiries, provide information, and communicate updates relevant to the User's account and services.

c. Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, conduct research, and enhance IMTF's services.

d. Providing of learning services: To use personal data at business processes of learning, communications, collaboration with current, future students and members of students' Alumni group.

Personal Data Protection IMTF acknowledges its responsibility to protect the User's Personal Data. IMTF commits to implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the User's Personal Data. These measures include, but are not limited to, encryption, access controls, and regular system audits.

Third-Party Sharing IMTF hereby declares that it does not share the User's provided Personal Data with any third parties without obtaining explicit consent from the User, except as required by law or as necessary for the provision of services explicitly requested by the User.

Cookies Usage

a. IMTF uses Cookies to enhance the User's experience on its platforms, including but not limited to:
i. Authentication: Cookies may be used to identify and authenticate the User when accessing IMTF's services.
ii. Preferences: Cookies may be used to remember the User's preferences and settings.
iii. Analytics: Cookies may be used to collect anonymized data for statistical analysis and to improve IMTF's services.

b. The User has the option to disable or manage Cookies through their web browser settings. However, note that certain features or services provided by IMTF may be affected as a result.

Data Retention IMTF retains the User's Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Upon the expiration of the retention period, IMTF ensures the secure deletion or anonymization of Personal Data.

User Rights The User retains the following rights in relation to their Personal Data, as provided by the GDPR:

a. Right of Access: The User has the right to request access to their Personal Data held by IMTF.

f. Right to Object: The User has the right to object to the processing of their Personal Data based on legitimate interests pursued by IMTF
